(Spencer)– A Peterson man wanted by Illinois authorities on drug charges has been taken into custody. The Clay County Sheriff’s Office says 47-year-old Norman Escalara of Peterson was wanted on a warrant from Will county, Illinois, for possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was arrested November 14 at 3rd Street and Main Street Peterson and was found to be in possession of methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia.
Escalera was charged with possession of a controlled substance…methamphetamine…3rd offense, and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was booked into the Clay county jail on the local charges and was held on the Illinois warrant.
