(Spencer)– A Peterson man was arrested early Monday on domestic assault and assault charges.
The Clay County Sheriff’s Office says deputies were notified around 12:30 am of a domestic assault at 10 Ash Street in Peterson. Upon investigating it was determined 43-year-old Robert Petersen had allegedly assaulted a female and her juvenile child during an incident around 11:40 pm August 6th. Petersen had left the scene by the time deputies arrived and was later found by deputies in O’Brien county. Petersen was transported back to Clay county where he was booked into jail on charges of domestic assault impeding airway and assault.
