(Estherville)– Paving is getting underway today (Wed.) on the south two lanes of Highway 9 on the west end of Estherville. A statement issued by the city says paving is taking place from Woody’s Pizza up to the dentist office on half mile hill.
Customers of the veterinary clinic and residents living on the north side of Highway 9 are being told to head west in the north lane starting at Woody’s and exit by heading west to Westwood Drive. Residents of Orchard Lane and Orchard Circle should continue to enter and exit their neighborhood by utilizing 170th Street.
Officials again remind everyone that if you don’t live, work or need access to a business in the construction zone to please stay out of that area.
UPDATE: As of 4:30 PM today (Wed.) officials announced a change to local access of the work area. From now until 4:00 pm Thursday (Aug. 31st) customers of the vet clinic or residents on the north side of Highway 9 should enter and exit through Westwood. Residents of Orchard Lane and Orchard Circle should continue to enter and exit their neighborhood by utilizing 170th Street.
