OKOBOJI— In recognition of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, Parks Marina announced the donation of $1,000 to the Spencer Hospital Abben Cancer Center in Spencer, Iowa. The Marina was able to raise these funds through limited edition Barefoot Bar t-shirt sales as well as a featured “Booby Drink” sold at Snappers Turtle Bay Cafe and Gardens in the Central Emporium.
“This continues to be a great tradition for our companies to make an impact during breast cancer awareness month.” Debbie Parks, director of marketing for Parks Marina properties, said.
“Our customers and staff are committed to the fight against breast cancer!”
The Barefoot Bar is excited to announce its new limited edition t-shirt, which is available in store and online. A portion of sales from the shirts will again be donated in support of breast cancer research.
