(Emmetsburg)– A two-vehicle collision Monday in Palo Alto county injured two people…one seriously.
The Iowa State Patrol says 17-year-old Tyane Baker of Ruthven was driving a 1995 Buick westbound on 380th Street when he failed to stop at the intersection with County Road N-18. Authorities say he then collided with a 2006 Ford pickup driven by William Salton of Dickens.
Baker was life-flighted out. A news release from the State Patrol doesn’t say where he was taken. Salton was taken to Spencer Hospital.
The collision took place around 8:21 a.m. and remains under investigation.
The Iowa State Patrol was assisted on the scene by the Palo Alto County Sheriff’s Office.
Other details weren’t immediately available.
