(Emmetsburg)– Minor injuries were reported Friday in a single-vehicle mishap in Palo Alto county.
The Sheriff’s Office says Jennifer Johnson of Sioux City was eastbound on 340th Street when she hit some loose gravel, swerved and hit a mailbox. The 2005 Ford Focus she was driving then went into the north ditch.
Johnson sustained minor injuries to her right foot.
Five thousand dollars in damage was estimated to the vehicle; the mailbox sustained an estimated 50-dollars in damage.
Johnson was cited for failure to maintain control.
