(Emmetsburg)– A single-vehicle crash in Palo Alto county resulted in minor injuries and charges against the driver.
The Palo Alto County Sheriff’s Office says Susan Segura of Cylinder was northbound on 510th Avenue near Highway 18 when she lost control and went into the east ditch, winding up in a soybean field.
Minor injuries were reported to Segura. A news release doesn’t say whether or not if she was transported to a hospital.
Authorities do say she was charged with operating while intoxicated, first offense; and failure to have control.
Segura was booked into the Palo Alto county jail.
The crash took place Monday.
