(Emmetsburg)– A Spirit Lake man was injured in a single vehicle crash Monday in Palo Alto county.
Authorities say Kyle Holland of Spirit Lake was driving a 2018 FedEx box van northbound in the 4200 block of Shea Road when he failed to negotiate a curve. The vehicle slid off the road, went into the ditch, and rolled, coming to rest on the driver’s side.
Holland was taken to Palo Alto County Hospital by ambulance.
He was cited for failure to maintain control.
The crash took place a little before 8:00 pm.
