(Emmetsburg)– A Kansas man wanted on a warrant has been arrested by authorities in Palo Alto county.
Palo Alto County Sheriff Dennis Goeders says he and Chief Deputy Todd Suhr served an arrest warrant shortly before Noon Thursday at 309 South Sixth Street in Mallard.
19-year-old Chad Smith of Laharpe, Kansas was arrested on a Palo Alto county warrant charging him with a probation violation.
Smith was taken into custody without incident and was transported to the Palo Alto county jail where he was being held without bond pending an initial court appearance.
