(Spencer)– Blue ribbons and cash prizes will be on the line again this year in the oven products department at the Clay County Fair powered by SMU.
Fair officials say there will be over 40 divisions including the traditional classics like chocolate chip cookies, pies and other baked goods, along with the $1,500 Cinnamon Roll Contest.
Some of the more unique competitions include a casserole creation contest; breakfast burrito contest; a two crust apple pie contest and a wild game chili contest, to name just a few.
The canned foods and dried foods departments will also be returning this year.
The Clay County Fair runs from September 9th-17th.
