(Undated)– Other than some fog, travel for the Christmas holiday shouldn’t be too much of an issue locally. Visibility through the day today (Tues.) should be relatively good, but forecasters say fog will likely settle back into the region around sunset and could become locally dense overnight into Christmas morning.
Temperatures will continue to be mild for this time of year with highs in the mid 30’s. Even milder conditions move in Friday, with highs reaching 40 degrees or more. The warmer temperatures will continue through the weekend and into early next week. Some rain chances will accompany the warmer air beginning Thursday night into early Saturday. Forecasters say temperatures should be warm enough to keep it in the form of plain rain, even during the overnight hours.
