(Sibley)– A single-vehicle crash early Sunday in Osceola county sent two men to the hospital.
The Sheriff’s Office says 19-year-old Cody Marco of Sibley was driving a 2004 Ford pickup westbound on a county road when the vehicle went into the north ditch, struck an embankment and flipped onto its top before coming to rest on the driver’s side, facing east.
Marco was taken by ambulance to the Oscela Community Hospital with incapacitating injuries; a passenger, 20-year-old Jay Kruger of Sibley, was taken by a private party to the Osceola Community Hospital for treatment of possible injuries.
The pickup was totaled.
The crash took place around 1:00 a.m. Sunday. It remains under investigation.
