Osceola County Crash Injures Two (1)

November 22, 2014

(Sibley)– The Osceola County Sheriff’s Office has released details into a two-vehicle crash last Wednesday (Jan. 6th) that sent two people to the hospital.

Deputies say 16-year-old Madison Fisher of Bigelow, Minnesota was eastbound on 170th Street east of Golf View Drive in Sibley and 57-year-old Bruce Harper of Sibley was westbound. Authorities say Fisher lost control due to the snow-covered roadway, crossed the center line and collided with Harper’s vehicle head-on.

Fisher and a passenger, 16-year-old Megan Fisher of Bigelow, were both taken by ambulance to the Osceola Community Hospital with non-incapacitating injuries.

Two thousand dollars in damage was estimated to a 1989 Chevrolet Blazer driven by Fisher and to a 1988 Chevrolet pickup driven by Harper.

The mishap took place around 1:00 p.m. Wednesday.

The Osceola County Sheriff’s Office was assisted on the scene by Sibley Fire and Rescue and the Sibley ambulance.
