Osceola County Collision Injures Two

(Sibley)– A two-vehicle collision Saturday on Highway 9 in Osceola county sent two people to the hospital.

The Sheriff’s Office says 91-year-old Folbert Krull of Sibley was driving a 1993 Buick westbound and 28-year-old Philip Lindsay of Spirit Lake was driving a 1996 Chevrolet Blazer eastbound and was attempting to make a left turn when the two collided.

Krull sustained possible injuries and was taken to Osceola Community Hospital. A passenger in Krull’s vehicle, 87-year-old Ruth Krull of Sibley, sustaiend non-incapacitating injuries and was also taken to Osceola Community Hospital. No injuries were reported to Lindsay.

The vehicle driven by Krull was totaled; Lindsay’s vehicle sustained an estimated $4,000 in damage.

Lindsay was cited for failure to yield upon making a left turn.
