Osceola Co. Traffic Stop Results In Drug Charges

(Sibley)– A traffic stop Sunday north of Sibley in Osceola county resulted in drug charges against a Worthington man.

The Osceola County Sheriff’s Office says a deputy pulled over a vehicle driven by 21-year-old Mitchell Vonholtum of Worthington. A subsequent investigation resulted in the deputy finding what’s alleged to a be marijuana pipe on Vonholtum’s person and a small scale.

Vonholtum was arrested on charges of possession of drug paraphernalia…a simple misdemeanor…and possession of a controlled substance…2nd offense…an aggravated misdemeanor.

Vonholtum was booked into the Osceola county jail on a $2,300 cash bond.
