November 22, 2014

(Sibley)– A Sanborn man faces multiple charges as the result of a crash Saturday in Osceola county.

The Osceola County Sheriff’s Office says a deputy was attempting to get a radar reading on a vehicle driven by 19-year-old Seth Woelber when Woelber lost control of the vehicle at the intersection of Osceola County Road L40 and 260th Street.

The vehicle went into the ditch and struck a culvert.

Woelber was arrested and charged with operating while intoxicated, first offense; driving while suspended; failure to maintain control, speeding, open container, and failure to provide security against liability.

Woelber was booked into the Osceola county jail on cash bond of $2,846.70.

Two passengers in the vehicle were cited for open container.
