(Sibley)– A single-vehicle rollover early Monday on Highway 60 south of Highway Nine injured a Brewster, Minnesota woman.
The Osceola County Sheriff’s Office says 36-year-old Sandra Sanchez of Brewster was northbound on Highway 60 when she fell asleep at the wheel.
A 2000 Chevrolet Trailblazer she was driving left the road and went into the median. Authorities say Sanchez then over-corrected, causing the vehicle to roll in the east ditch.
Sanchez was taken to the Osceola Community Hospital with incapacitating injuries.
She was cited for failure to maintain control.
The vehicle sustained an estimated 5,500-dollars in damage.
The Osceola County Sheriff’s Office was assisted on the scene by Sibley Fire and Rescue and the Sibley ambulance.
The crash took place around 4:00 a.m.
