Ongoing Drug Investigation Results In Arrest Of Rural Estherville Man

February 12, 2024 Steve Schwaller

(Estherville)– An ongoing investigation into a drug case has resulted in the arrest of a rural Estherville man.

A press release from the Estherville Police Department says arrest warrants were issued January 24th for 41-year-old Jesse Kinney, charging him with two counts of delivery of methamphetamine, both class “D” felonies, and two counts of gatherings where controlled substances are used, also class “D” felonies. Police say the charges stem from an investigation into the sale and use of methamphetamine that allegedly took place in December of 2022.

Kinney was arrested on the warrants Friday by the Palo Alto County Sheriff’s Office during a traffic stop. Kinney was transported to the Emmet county jail and was released the following day after posting bond.
