Ongoing Drug Investigation Results In Arrest

November 22, 2014

(Primghar)– An ongoing drug investigation in O’Brien county has resulted in the arrest of a Sanborn man.

The O’Brien County Sheriff’s Office says it’s investigation resulted in the arrest of 20-year-old Adam Bonnema Tebben of Sanborn. Tebben was arrested Tuesday on an arrest warrant charging him with two counts of prohibited acts…delivery of a controlled substance…Vyvanse. Each is a class “C” felony punishable by up to 10 years in prison and a fine up to $50,000.

Authorities say the warrant stems from incidents on September 18th, 2011 and March 28th, 2012 in Sanborn in which Tebben is accused of selling and delivering Vyvanse…a prescription drug.

Tebben was booked into the O’Brien county jail pending an initial court appearance.

The O’Brien County Sheriff’s Office is a member of the Iowa Great Lakes Drug Task Force.
