(Okoboji)– A traffic stop early this (Thurs.) morning in Okoboji resulted in the arrests of two Minnesota men on drug and alcohol charges.
The Okoboji Police Department says 21-year-old Billy Hampel of Jackson was charged with operated while intoxicated…first offense; possession of drug paraphernalia and speeding.
Another occupant in the vehicle, 20-year-old Nick Hampel of Mankato, was arrested and charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and minor in possession of alcohol.
The Okoboji Police Department was assisted on the scene by the Arnolds Park Police Department and the Milford Police Department’s K9 Unit.
