(Okoboji)-Okoboji Summer Theatre has announced a new camp for young actors.

Boji Bantam Theatre will host its first Broadway Boot Camp in July.
Okoboji Summer Theatre Executive Director Ruth Ann Burke says, the focus will be on musical theater. “The Boji Bantam will be doing The Emperor’s New Clothes July 3-6, including a performance on July 4th, that morning. Then the following week we’re launching our first ever Boji Bantam Broadway Boot Camp. It’s a week-long musical theater intensive for grades 6 through seniors.”
She adds that the camp will culminate with a performance. “We had some professional guest artists and Okoboji Summer Theatre staff put together day-long activities for those who are going to be attending, everything from acting technique, voice technique and movement, and then culminating in a performance on Saturday, July 13.”
