(Milford)– On Saturday, November 4th, fifteen OHS students auditioned for a chair in the Northwest Iowa Honor Band. Of those fifteen, eleven students were selected to the NWIBA Honor Band: Kaidance Pahl – Flute Hailey Schneider – Clarinet Cole Becker – Alto Sax Asher Knudtson – Bari Sax Ben Roos – Trumpet Ella Downing – French Horn Hunter Hallengren – Trombone Trigg Heimdal – Trombone Michael Gonnerman – Euphonium Brianna Swenson – Euphonium Elliana Antoine – Percussion.
These students will perform at a concert at Morningside University on Saturday, January 6th with world-renowned composers and conductors Aaron Perrine and Andrew Boysen, Jr.
