(Arnolds Park)– A foundation that awards grants for various community improvement projects in the Iowa Great Lakes is accepting applications for its next round of funding.
Ann Ditsworth, Executive Director of the Okoboji Foundation, says they’re interested in helping with projects that promote culture, education, the environment, history, life-saving and recreation. She says grants are made to non-profit, tax exempt organizations. Ditsworth adds those groups who are working together on a certain project will receive greater attention.
Ditsworth says they’ll continue accepting grant proposals until March 31st. The awards will be announced in early June.
