(Arnolds Park)-The Okoboji Foundation, the community foundation for the Iowa Great Lakes, has announced the opening of their 2023 grant application processes.
Area nonprofits are encouraged to apply with capital project requests that seek to impact the quality of life in the lakes region in the areas of arts & culture, outdoor experiences & recreation, lake quality & environment, or economic development. Applications are due March 1st, 2023.
“When reviewing applications,” commented Mindy Gress, Foundation President, “our committee looks at the overall impact the project has on the region – the number of individuals that will benefit from the service, the cost compared to the return on the investment, community support, and project longevity, to name a few.”
Since 1988, the Okoboji Foundation has addressed important community needs with over $4.82 million in grants to a wide variety of nonprofit capital projects.
