(Okoboji)– The Okoboji city council Tuesday reviewed preliminary plans for the proposed reconstruction of Holliday Way.
City Administrator Dennis Daly tells KUOO news the project has an estimated cost of 500-thousand dollars.
He says the project includes some drainage work and low impact development components will be included where possible. Daly says that may be a challenge though due to a lack of right-of-way in the area.
A bidletting on the project is tentatively scheduled for late April. Construction would be done over the upcoming season. Daly says a completion date hasn’t been set on the project.
Daly adds a meeting will be held with property owners who will be affected to better explain the project to them.
