(Milford)– A senior at Okoboji High School has been selected to play in the class 1A/2A All-State Jazz Band.
Kelly Hein is one of only 20 students from throughout the state selected for the honor, and is the only vibraphone player selected.
Members of the All-State Jazz Band will rehearse in Des Moines May 14th and 15th. They will perform in concert at the Iowa Bandmasters Conference at the Hotel Fort Des Moines Saturday, May 16th.
Kelly is the daughter of Kathy and Robert Hein.
