(Milford)– The Okoboji High School jazz band and singers competed Thursday in the University of South Dakota Coyote Jazz Festival.
Boji Voices placed fourth in class 2A with Dallas Clark winning an Outstanding Soloist/Musicianship Award.
The Okoboji High School Jazz Band took place 1st place honors in class 2A competition, followed by Sibley-Ocheyedan in 2nd and South O’Brien 3rd.
Okoboji will perform at the Iowa Jazz Championships April 12th at the Des Moines Convention Center. They’re scheduled to take the stage at 3:45 that afternoon.
This will be Okoboji’s 17th consecutive appearance at that event.
