(Milford)– 100 Okoboji High School student members of the Concert Choir and Concert Band traveled to Emmetsburg this past Saturday (May 7th) to participate in the Iowa High School Music Association’s State Large Group Music Festival.
The Concert Choir earned a Division II (excellent) rating and the Concert Band earned Division I (superior) rating. The Concert Band has earned a Division I rating 15 out of the past 16 years.
The groups will be featured along with the Bel Canto Choir, Jazz Choir and Jazz Band in their annual spring concert Tuesday, May 17th at 7:30 p.m. in the Okoboji High School Auditorium. Admission is $5 for adults; $4 for students.
