OHS Celebrates Homecoming Week

(Milford)– Homecoming week kicked off today (Monday) at Okoboji High School with a full slate of events planned each day through Friday. Dallas Drexler, a member of the Okoboji High School student body, tells KUOO News the theme is based on the Olympics…(click here for comment from Drexler.)

The week culminates with a pep rally Friday, which Drexler says will also include coronation of this year’s Homecoming court…(click here for comment from Drexler.)

That will be followed by annual Homecoming parade beginning around 2:15 p.m. from Okoboji High School and proceeding through the downtown area on Okoboji Avenue, or Highway 71.

And of course, the big Homecoming game Friday evening will feature the Okoboji Pioneers taking on Sioux Central.
