(Spencer)– The month of October has been designated “Disability Awareness Month”. Tom Rutt of the Spencer Americans with Disability Council tells KUOO news they’re hoping those of us who are fortunate enough not to be disabled take a few minutes to put ourselves in the place of those who are. Rutt says members of the ADA council will visit Lincoln School in Spencer October 30th and will also be judging a poster contest for 4th graders being put on by the Spencer Rotary Club.
