O’Brien County Rollover Sends Teen To Hospital

November 22, 2014

(Primghar)– A single vehicle crash Saturday in O’Brien county sent a teen to the hospital.
The O’Brien County Sheriff’s Office says 16-year-old Macie Williams of Paullina was westbound on a gravel road when she swerved to miss a deer, causing her to lose control. A 1997 Chevrolet Camaro she was driving went into the north ditch and rolled, coming to rest on its top.

Williams was taken by her mother to the Primghar hospital to be checked over for possible injuries.

$3,000 in damage was estimated to the vehicle.

Williams was cited for failure to maintain control.

The crash took place around 9:30 p.m.
