(Sheldon)– A two vehicle collision Monday at the intersection of 390th Street and Nettle Avenue near Archer sent two people to the hospital.
The Iowa State Patrol says 18-year-old Noah Feilmeier of Glidden, Iowa was driving a 1992 Chevrolet pickup westbound on 390th Street. Troopers say Feilmeier had stopped for a stop sign at the intersection and pulled into the path of a 2004 GMC Envoy driven by 53-year-old Matthew Simons of Marcus, who was northbound on Nettle Avenue. Both vehicles wound up in the ditch, with the one driven by Simons rolling, coming to rest on its wheels.
Feilmeier and Simons were taken by ambulance to the Sheldon hospital. Their injuries were described as non-life threatening.
The O’Brien County Sheriff’s Office assisted on the scene.
The collision took place around 10:30 am.
