O’Brien County Crash Injures Spencer Couple

(Primghar)– A single-vehicle crash last Thursday in O’Brien county injured a Spencer couple.

The O’Brien County Sheriff’s Office says 68-year-old David Lynn of Spencer was eastbound on Highway 18 when he lost control due to slick road conditions.

The vehicle went into the north ditch and struck a parked John Deer tractor owned by Craig Sampson of Sanborn.

Lynn and his wife, 71-year-old Karen Lynn, were both transported by ambulance to Baum Harmon Hospital in Primghar. Their injuries were described as non-incapacitating.

A 2002 Ford Ranger David Lynn was driving sustained an estimated seven thousand dollars in damage.

The crash took place shortly after 6:00 p.m.
