(Primghar)– The longtime Clerk of Court for O’Brien county will be stepping down at the end of the month.
Jeff Roos was retire February 28th after some 32 years of service.
Roos was elected O’Brien Couty Clerk of Court in the 1980 General Election and began working in the post in January, 1981. He was re-elected in 1984 and was appointed in 1986 by the District Court Judges as a transition was made to state funding of clerk offices.
A retirement reception for Roos, hosted by his family, will be held Saturday, March 9th from 6:30 until 9:00 p.m. at the Primghar Golf Course and Country Club in Primghar.
