(Spencer)—Another major concert announcement this (Thurs.) morning from the Clay County Fair. Fair officials say the Oak Ridge Boys will perform in front of the grandstand at 7:30 p.m. Monday, September 10th, which is also Veteran’s Day at the fair.
The Oak Ridge Boys have spawned dozens of country hits and a number-one pop smash that earned them Grammy, Dove, CMA and ACM Awards along with a host of other industry and fan accolades.
The Oak Ridge Boys will be accompanied by special guest Jimmy Fortune of the Statler Brothers.

Other grandstand entertainment that’s been announced so far for this year’s fair includes Chris Young with special guest Thompson Square September 9th; Air Supply and Rick Springfield September 11th; Casting Crowns September 15th and Jeff Foxworthy September 16th.
The 2012 Clay County Fair will run September 8th-16th.
