(Spirit Lake)– A Spirit Lake woman was arrested last week on warrants for insurance fraud. According to criminal complaints on file with the Dickinson County Clerk of Court’s Office, 50-year-old Tammy Zemler was arrested by police on warrants from the Iowa Insurance Fraud Bureau charging her with three counts each of insurance fraud, forgery, and identity theft. The complaints say the charges stem from alleged incidents in July, November and December, 2021. She has since been released from jail after posting a $36,000 surety bond.
