(Sioux City)– A regional restaurant franchise has donated slightly more than $2,500 to Special Olympics Iowa to benefit athletes in northwest Iowa.
The funds were raised by Taco Johns restaurants in the region, including those in Spencer and Spirit Lake.
The funds will provide training and competition for the 826 special olympic athletes in the region.
The funds were raised through a special promotion Taco Johns put on December 1st-25th.
