(Sioux City)– A convicted felon from Storm Lake has pleaded guilty to federal firearms charges.

28-year-old Kou Vue entered the plea February 2nd in federal court in Sioux City.

At his plea hearing, Vue admitted he possessed three firearms and ammunition and that he handled, claimed ownership of, showed off to friends and fired the weapons in Storm Lake, Cherokee and Spencer. Vue also admitted he was a convicted felon. He was convicted of intermediate battery resulting in substantial bodily harm in Wisconsin in 2003.
