(Spencer)– 11 councils of government across Iowa, including one that serves our area, will share in nearly two million dollars in federal grants for disaster planning.
The funding is through the U.S. Department of Commerce’s Economic Development Administration.
Locally, the Northwest Iowa Planning and Development Commission based out of Spencer will receive 131,498-dollars.
