(Spencer)– Northwest Bank has completed its acquisition of Bank of America locations in Spencer, Algona, Fort Dodge and Estherville. Officials with Northwest Bank say they have received the necessary regulatory approvals needed to finalize the transfer.
Northwest Bank President and CEO Greg Post says they feel privileged to expand their presence in those locations.
First National Bank of Sioux City, a sister bank of Northwest Bank owned by Northwest Financial Corporation has also acquired a Bank of America branch in Sioux City.
Northwest Financial Corporation of Arnolds Park is owned by Neal and Dwight Conover and families. It operates three charters including Northwest Bank of Spencer with 21 locations; First National Bank of Creston with three locations and First National Bank of Sioux City with six locations.
