(Arnolds Park)– Another reminder that the next phase of construction is about to get underway on Highway 71 through the lakes corridor.
The Iowa Department of Transportation says the northbound lane of Highway 71 from Benit Drive through Broadway Street in Arnolds Park will be closed to traffic beginning next week, Tuesday, September 5th, weather permitting.
Traffic will be detoured using Broadway Street and Lake Street. D.O.T officials say that’s expected to last about four weeks.
Plans as of now still call for the Highway 71 causeway between Arnolds Park and Okoboji to close for four weeks beginning September 18th.
