(Spencer)– No injuries were reported Wednesday in a house fire in Spencer. Firefighters were called to 1302 1st Avenue East around 3:30 pm. Smoke could be seen coming from the windows on the south side of the residence. Two people and a dog that were inside managed to get out unharmed.
Firefighters quickly extinguished the fire, however one room sustained heavy fire damage with heavy smoke damage through the rest of the home.
There was no word on a possible cause.
Firefighters were on the scene about an hour and-a-half.
