(Ruthven)– Some work on a railroad crossing on Highway 18 near Ruthven scheduled for next week will likely result in some traffic delays. The Iowa Department of Transportation says Highway 18 east of Ruthven will be closed starting Monday, June 16th, with the road being shut down in that area until Friday, June 27th. Traffic will be detoured onto several Palo Alto county roads while the repairs are being made to the Canadian Pacific Kansas City Railroad crossing.
