(Spencer)– A Spencer man faces multiple charges following a pursuit late Saturday night.
The Clay County Sheriff’s Office says it happened around 11:30 pm when a deputy observed a vehicle southbound on Grand Avenue that vaulted some railroad tracks while traveling at a high rate of speed. That resulted in a pursuit that reached speeds as high as 90 mph. It ended a short time later in the 800 block of 9th Street Southwest in Spencer. The driver, Dalton McGee, was arrested on charges of eluding, operating while intoxicated…1st offense, possession of a controlled substance…marijuana, and several traffic-related offenses.
McGee was booked into the Clay county jail.
