(Spirit Lake)– The Disaster Recovery Center in Dickinson county will close permanently Saturday September 14th at 6:00 pm.
The Federal Emergency Management Agency can provide money to eligible homeowners and renters for help with serious needs, paying for a temporary place to live, home repairs, rental assistance and other needs not covered by insurance.
Designated counties in our area include Buena Vista, Cherokee, Clay, Dickinson, Emmet, Lyon, O’Brien, Osceola, Palo Alto, Plymouth and Sioux.
The Disaster Recovery Center for Dickinson County is located in the meeting room at the Dickinson County Expo Building in Spirit Lake.
