(Spencer)– The new President at Iowa State University will make an appearance next month in Spencer.
Steven Leath will address a joint meeting of the Spencer Rotary and Kiwanis clubs at 12 Noon Monday, May 7th at the Clay County Regional Events Center.
The event is also open to alumni and friends of Iowa State University, but those planning to attend are being asked to RSVP by May 1st by calling Pat Thiede of the ISU Alumni Association at (515) 294-9515 or by contacting the Clay County Extension Office’s online registration system.
Cost of the lunch is $10 for ISU Alumni Association members; $12 for non-members.
Leath is Iowa State University’s 15th President. He’s held the post since January 16th of this year.
Prior to coming to Iowa State, Leath was Vice President for research and sponsored programs for the 16-campus University of North Carolina system.
