Six new food concessionaires and 25 new commercial exhibitors will be scattered about the fairgrounds awaiting food enthusiasts and shoppers at the 2013 Clay County Fair, September 7-15.
“The Clay County Fair has long been recognized as a place for people to enjoy great food and do lots of shopping,” said CCF Manager Jeremy Parsons. “This year will be no different as we welcome a record 528 commercial exhibitors to the Fair.”
New food vendors will present even more offerings to fairgoers. New vendors include Campfire Desserts (deep fried s’mores), H&D Enterprises (licorice), Momma Julies (Jamaican cuisine), and Yippity (cookie dough desserts). The 2013 Fair Food Guide, a complete list of each and every food item available on the fairgrounds, can be downloaded at www.claycountyfair.com.
For fairgoers looking for new shopping options, each of the eight commercial exhibit building will contain at least one new vendor.
New in 2012, the Innovation Pavilion will return with eight new local entrepreneurs showcasing their new products and ideas.

Dubbed the “World’s Greatest County Fair” with this year’s theme, “Bushels of Fun”, the Clay County Fair runs September 7-15, 2013.
