(Des Moines)– Governor Kim Reynolds has appointed a new District Associate Judge for Judicial District 3B. Melinda Wicks of Sergeant Bluff will fill a vacancy created by the retirement of the Honorable Todd Hensley.
Wicks currently serves as a Magistrate in Woodbury county and as a deputy attorney in the Dakota County Attorney’s Office in Nebraska. She received her undergraduate degree from the University of Nebraska and has a law degree from Washburn University of Law.
Judicial District 3B includes Buena Vista, Cherokee, Clay, Crawford, Ida, Monona, Plymouth, Sioux and Woodbury counties.
