New Crosswalk Law Now In Effect In Iowa

“If you’re a pedestrian on foot in a crosswalk, a vehicle approaching that crosswalk would have to yield to you, but would not be required to yield to pedestrians using other modes of transportation.”

He says bikes, wheelchairs, and strollers were left unprotected in a crosswalk, but state law now requires drivers to yield to all pedestrians.
