(Des Moines)– Another case of bird flu has been confirmed in Iowa, this time in Kossuth County along the Minnesota border. The virus was found in a non-commercial poultry flock on a residential property. State Agriculture officials don’t know yet how many birds will have to be destroyed.
Kossuth is the 14th Iowa county to report a bird flu outbreak.
So far, more than 13 million birds have been destroyed in Iowa in efforts to stop the spread of avian flu.
